Abstract

|
The intraosseous neurilemoma is rare primary bone tumor and most commonly occurs in mandible. Its occurance in the long bone, especially within the cortex, is very rare. A 21-year old woman was presented with pain and tenderness in left leg and the radiologic finding showed an ovoid intracortical lytic defect with sclerotic margin in the diaphysis of the left tibia. Curettage and bone graft was performed. Histologically, the lesion was compatible with neurilemoma. No recurrence has been found during 4 months’ follow-up.
